Our Board Members

Colin Haskett

Chair

I serve as the past chair of Jessica's House Hospice in Exeter, a role I undertake with modest dedication. My involvement with JHH began in the early stages as a member of the capital campaign committee, a position I held before the construction phase.

I acknowledge my part in the success of Jessica's House Hospice by recognizing the greater collective effort contributed by fellow board members, volunteers, and staff. I believe that the true heroes are those working tirelessly in the house.

In my day-to-day life, I am the President of Haskett Funeral Homes, a role that provides me with a unique perspective on the impact of Jessica's House Hospice. Interacting closely with those affected by the hospice's compassionate care, I find fulfillment in knowing that the organization's work is making a difference.

My journey with Jessica’s House Hospice began as a member of the Steering Committee in 2016. I recognize the importance of end of life care and am excited to support the success of Jessica’s House Hospice going forward. I feel very fortunate to be able to work alongside so many knowledgeable, dedicated and community minded volunteers.

Connor Brown

My connection to hospice care began when a family member received compassionate end-of-life care from the great team at Jessica's House Hospice. This experience inspired me to become involved in Jessica's House, recognizing its vital role in providing comfort and dignity to families during their most difficult moments. As a member of the board, I hope to bring my financial background, deep empathy, and commitment to ensuring Jessica's House's financial stability and growth.

I hold a bachelor's degree in finance from Western University and work as an Advisor with IG Private Wealth Management. As an active Chartered Investment Manager, I am passionate about educating the community on financial literacy and planning.

In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering, spending time on the lake with my fiancé Kate, and the occasional round of golf.
